As the countdown continues to the inevitable blurry midnight sing-song, we thought we'd crunch the data to see who likes to score their Premier League goals when the day is long.
Step forward Premier League 2015/16 sensation Jamie Vardy, who has a penchant for late drama that Michael Thomas, Sergio Aguero and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would surely approve of.
Of Vardy's 15 top flight strikes thus far, a third have come between minute 76 and minute 90 - which is testament to his nerve as well as Leicester's undoubted stomach for a fight.
Want a goal late in the game? Look to Jamie Vardy. Most goals between mins 76-90: 5 VARDY 3 Ighalo, Benteke #playmaker #premierleague

Vardy almost starts as fast as he finishes with only his team-mate Riyad Mahrez and Watford's Odion Ighalo more deadly in the early stages of matches so far this season. Mahrez and Ighalo both have five goals apiece in the opening half hour of matches - one ahead of Vardy and Romelu Lukaku.
Want a fast start? Call Riyad & Odion. Most PL goals in first 30 mins: 5 - MAHREZ, IGHALO 4 - Vardy, Lukaku 3 - Kane, Giroud, Arnautovic

If you're looking for goals just before or after half-time though, there is only one winner: big Belgian Lukaku. The Everton forward is level with Vardy at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts, but takes a little longer to get going. Try stopping him when he's warmed up and into his stride, though.
Want goals before the break? Call Romelu. Most PL goals mins 31-45: 5 - LUKAKU 3 - Ighalo, Aguero, Kane #playmaker #premierleague

Most PL goals before/after half-time, mins 31-60: 8 - LUKAKU 6 - Ighalo, Aguero 5 - Kane 4 - Mahrez #playmaker #premierleague

While these goalscoring fireworks catch the eye, we should spare a thought for the goalkeepers peering at their prolific team-mates from the confines of their six-yard box. Much like tonight's designated drivers, goalkeepers normally only gain our attention following an accident. Let's throw them a bone (and hope the likes of Simon Mignolet don't drop it).
GKs who have conceded fewest PL goals this season (with 15 starts or more): 14 - LLORIS (18 apps), DE GEA (15 apps) 15 - Hart (17 apps)

Take a bow Hugo Lloris and David De Gea who have conceded fewer Premier League goals than any stopper to have played 15 top flight games or more this season. An honourable mention also goes to Joe Hart who has played two more games than De Gea, but shipped just one more goal.
In a nutshell, Ighalo and Mahrez are safe bets for early goals; Lukaku is a monster once games go into their middle third and Vardy is the master of late goals thus far.
Will these trends continue into the New Year? Mull it over tomorrow once you've tired of breaking those hastily-made resolutions.
