The heat in the England Euro 2016 kitchen is ramping up by the day - and Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere are no doubt feeling the pressure.
Two of the more experienced members of Roy Hodgson's provisional squad, Henderson and Wilshere are fighting to prove their fitness ahead of this summer's showpiece in France.

Both would be regarded as near-certain starters for the Three Lions if fit and in-form, but Hodgson will have question marks against the pair in both categories.
Plagued by foot problems early in the campaign, Liverpool captain Henderson made just 17 Premier League appearances for the Reds during the 15/16 season - and has played just 26 minutes of competitive football since picking up a knee injury against Borussia Dormund in early April.
Accident-prone Wilshere, meanwhile, has just three Premier League games and three U21 matches under his belt all season - the midfielder's last full game in the top flight coming way back in September 2014.

Fitness aside, Henderson may represent a better bet for Hodgson should it become a straight choice between the Liverpool man and his Arsenal counterpart - seeing as he has scored more goals and has a better win percentage in an England shirt than Wilshere.

If fitness enters the equation. Henderson - though behind in his preparation - may also offer more, given that Wilshere's last full Premier League game came nearly two years ago.
Three Lions chief Hodgson has stated that he will give both midfielders as much time as possible to prove themselves prior to naming his final 23-man squad - their next chance coming on Friday when England take on an Australian side who come into the encounter in decent form.
Depending on how Fabian Delph and Danny Drinkwater conduct themselves against the Socceroos and then Portugal, in England's final warm-up match on 2 June, Hodgson may soon have some very tough decisions on his hands.
