AFC Wimbledon clinched their sixth promotion in 14 seasons at Wembley yesterday - and will now face MK Dons in League One next season.
Formed by supporters who did not wish to relocate to Milton Keynes, AFC Wimbledon have worked their way up from Tier 9 to Tier 3 of the English game - goals from Lyle Taylor and Adebayo 'The Beast' Akinfenwa securing a 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle in Monday's League Two play-off final.
With MK Dons relegated from the Championship, the two strains of the original 'Crazy Gang' will now go head-to-head in the league for the first time.
The two sides have already played three times in various cup competitions: MK Dons winning twice, once in the FA Cup and once in the Carling Cup, and AFC Wimbledon winning their last clash in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.
