Nottingham Forest extended their winless streak to four Premier League matches as they played to a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
During the first half, the visitors dominated the game, with Morgan Gibbs-White hitting the post with a superb first-time volley, and Murillo's solo run and shot were denied by Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
In the second half, Jean-Philippe Mateta missed Palace's best scoring opportunity after slipping, but the hosts posed little threat in attack and they managed to withstand late pressure from Forest to secure the draw.
With just two defeats out of their eight matches this season, Palace currently holds the ninth position in the standings with 12 points, placing them ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea. Forest, on the other hand, sits three points behind in the 13th position.
Following the international break, Palace will resume play against Newcastle United at St James' Park on October 21. Meanwhile, Forest, who have now dropped to 13th, will host Luton Town.
