Namibia recorded their first-ever win at an African Cup of Nations tournament after a late Deon Hotto header secured victory against Tunisia.
This AFCON tournament has already seen plenty of upsets and this was yet another although Tunisia did have plenty of chances to take the lead first.
With just four minutes gone in the game, Taha Khenissi got his head on the end of a corner but his effort was palmed away by goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua.
The Brave Warriors were causing the Tunisian defence problems soon when Peter Shalulile was guilty of spurning a great close-range chance with the defenders then in the right place to stop any rebound.
After that early flurry, it took until the second half for the game to properly open up.
Indeed, the second half began similarly to the first, with Tunisia winning a header from a corner – this time it was Youssef Msakni's effort – only for Kazapua to get in the way of it.
And then not long after, Shalulile again missed a big chance. The Sundowns striker would have likely converted his effort had he got proper contact with a low ball drilled in from the right.
Haythem Jouini, Elias Achouri, and Msakni again all spurned fine chances for the Eagles of Carthage with goalkeeper Kazapua putting in a man-of-the-match performance.
But Namibia were always a threat and they eventually did make the most of an 88th-minute opportunity.
Substitute Bethuel Muzeu showed good footwork on the left to find space to deliver a deep looping cross that Deon Hotto was able to head at the far post and beat Bechir Ben Said from close range.
It could have been two early into stoppage time when Hotto again found the net but the Orlando Pirates midfielder had just strayed offside.
But that didn't matter in the end as Namibia managed to hold on and keep Tunisia out to record a historic win in Korhogo.
