Zeki Amdouni won and then converted a late penalty as Burnley kept their survival hopes alive with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils had earlier taken the lead after a darting run and finish from Brazilian winger Antony, who latched onto a defensive error from the visitors before slotting home.
With Vincent Kompany's side staring down the barrel of a defeat that would have mired them deeper in relegation trouble, Man Utd - as they often have this season - hit the self-destruct button: a poor header from Casemiro causing Andre Onana to charge from his line and take out Amdouni.
A short VAR review ended in a penalty being awarded, and Amdouni made no mistake from the spot to keep Burnley's survival hopes alive.
Much as he did earlier in the season against Wolves - when he escaped punishment - United stopper Onana recklessly charged from his goal to take out a member of the opposition and this time he paid the price.
Although referee John Brooks missed the flashpoint, the VAR assistant Peter Bankes stepped in to rightly award the Clarets a penalty, which Amdouni converted with little fuss.
The hard-earned point moved Burnley to within two points of fourth-bottom Nottingham Forest - who travel Turf Moor on the final day of the season.
