Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has hailed Gareth Bale's attitude after the Welsh winger marked his deut with a goal in a 2-2 draw with Villarreal. The former Tottenham star scored Real Madrid's equaliser cancelling out Cani's opener for the hosts on Saturday night. After the match, Ancelotti told reporters: "I think he's happy to score his first goal for Real Madrid. "He played in a difficult match and he played well, showing his good attitude. It was a hard match for everyone." On Bale's pairing with Cristiano Ronaldo, Ancelotti said: "It was the first time they've played together and they will swap positions now and then because their movement is in towards goal from the wings. "But they might change wings sometimes, it's nothing out of the ordinary."
