Villarreal's Borja Valero and Malaga's Santi Cazorla are under Chelsea's scope and the Blues could make an approach to sign them on the market reopening.
According to Cadena Ser, Chelsea boss André Villas-Boas appreciates the qualities of both athletes, but Cazorla is no easy target.
The Spain international has represented a strong investment for Malaga, who swooped him precisely from Villarreal for a £21m fee in the summer, and is a key player to manager Manuel Pellegrini. On the other hand, Borja Valero could mean less trouble in negotiations, as Villarreal wouldn't turn down the opportunity to cash in on the player.
