The Cameroon FA have announced that Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has withdrawn from the squad due to a pelvic injury sustained in the match against Mauritius.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper was substituted in the 81st minute of Friday's 3-0 victory in Douala, following an injury incurred while making a save.
Initial reports indicated a muscle problem, but Cameroon have now confirmed that the injury is to his pubis, one of the three bones in the pelvis.
As a result, Onana will not be part of Cameroon's squad for the upcoming match against Libya on Tuesday.
Instead, he will return to Manchester for further examination by his club. Manchester United will resume action after the international break with an away game against Everton next Sunday.
