Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of former Chelsea star Didier Drogba from Shanghai Shenhua.
The Turkish champions have announced that the Ivory Coast international signed a one-and-a-half year deal with the club.
"Big clubs can reach for higher targets with bigger goals," Galatasaray president Unal Aysal stated.
"Drogba said that he was very happy to play for a big club like Galatasaray in the future. Drogba met our coach and decided to come to Galatasaray."
The Blues legend has been widely linked with a return to Europe after failing to settle in China, since leaving the Stamford Bridge last summer.
Despite rumours that Chelsea were trying to sign the striker back, this winter, the Galatasaray have won the race for his signature.
