Never prolific, Barry's goalscoring form dipped after a respectable 52 goal for Aston Villa. Shorn of penalty-taking duties, Barry managed just eight in a City shirt and has only two to date for Everton. Internationally, Barry has played for a record seven Engand managers and contributed 3 goals to his country's cause in his 53 international caps.
"Barry sees yellow"
One thing the battling midfielder has loved to pick up over his 17-year career is a yellow card or two. The 35-year-old has a record 114 - and counting - bookings to his name, although, to be fair to the former England international, he has played nearly 200 more Premier League games than second-placed Lee Bowyer.
