Liverpool kept their Premier League title challenge on track with a 2-1 comeback win over Brighton on Easter Sunday.
Seagulls forward Danny Welbeck gave the visitors an early lead in just the third minute when an attack down the left was only partially cleared by Virgil Van Dijk to the Brighton striker, who slammed home an unstoppable effort to stun Anfield.
A cracking tempo to the contest saw the game flow from end to end with Darwin Nunez having a penalty appeal turned down and Mo Salah going close.
The Red tide kept lapping at the Brighton defence and on 27 minutes Jurgen Klopp's side levelled thanks to their Colombian forward Luis Diaz, who volleyed home from close range after a corner had caused chaos.
A fantastic encounter fully hit its stride with the teams on level terms, Simon Adingra a real thorn in Liverpool's side down the left, with Conor Bradley making inroads down the same flank in an entertaining tussle.

After the restart, Klopp's side started on the front foot, but struggled to create anything clear cut in the opening exchanges.
Dominic Szoboszlai's influence was growing and the Hungarian midfielder fired a dipping effort wide before playing a part in Liverpool's second goal of the afternoon.
Liverpool's number eight slid a ball into team-mate Alexis Mac Allister on the edge of Brighton's box, and the Argentine slipped a gorgeous pass into the feet of Salah, which was clinically dispatched by the Egyptian.
Brighton had no intention of rolling over after falling behind, and they pushed for an equaliser - although Salah was released on a 1v1 from a Seagulls corner only to fire straight at Verbruggen.
The game swung from end to end, and with just five minutes to go Brighton nearly spoiled the party - former Red Adam Lallana dragging inches wide from 12 yards out as Anfield held its breath.
Salah nearly extended the hosts advantage late on, but his right footed strike was superbly palmed to safety by Brighton stopper Verbruggen.
Liverpool protected their lead to seal victory - and Klopp's side will now watch with interest, as their title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal go head-to-head at the Etihad Stadium.
