Liverpool are considering the possibility of signing Devyne Rensch from Ajax, but they may face competition from Arsenal, according to a report from the Football Insider.
The Reds are reportedly eager to bring in a young right-back who can also fill other defensive positions, and Rensch seems to be an ideal fit for their requirements.
The 20-year-old defender emerged from Ajax's renowned youth academy and has already accumulated 101 senior appearances for the club and has played in various defensive roles.
In the current season, Rensch has participated in nine matches across all competitions for Ajax and has contributed with one assist.
Liverpool's interest in Rensch is likely driven by the need for a reliable back-up for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, especially since Calvin Ramsay is on loan at Preston North End for the season, and Joe Gomez, primarily a center-back, has had to fill in as needed.
