UEFA Player of the Year Franck Ribery dedicated Bayern's Super Cup win over Chelsea to Pep Guardiola after the Bavarians won the title on penalties.
Ribery was thrilled to score in the final and ran to celebrate his goal with his Spanish boss with emotions boiling over.
With Chelsea taking the lead in extra time Bayern dominated as they sought the breakthrough that came in the dying seconds through Javi Martinez.
The Frenchman said: "We fought until the last minute. It's a well-deserved success for Bayern. The victory is also important for Pep.
"I have a super relationship with Guardiola. It was an extraordinary moment when I rushed over to him [after scoring].
"I told him this is a goal for you, against Mourinho."
