Cristiano Ronaldo has been hit with a one-match ban and a fine for "provoking fans" following Al-Nassr's Saudi Pro League win over Al-Shabab.
After Al Shabab's 3-2 defeat, their supporters chanted "Messi" at Ronaldo, who cupped his hand to his ear and made a gesture to fans.
Following the incident, the Portuguese forward has received a fine of 30,000 Saudi Riyals (£6,300) from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) - with the SAFF disciplinary and ethics committee stating that Ronaldo cannot appeal against the decision.
During the match, Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but Al-Shabab came from behind on two occasions before Al-Nassr's Brazilian midfielder Talisca struck an 87th-minute decider.
Ronaldo has scored 20 goals in 22 league games for Al-Nassr this season having joined the Saudi club on a free from Manchester United back in December 2022.
