Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly trained on a separate pitch from the first-team at Real Madrid’s training ground, Valdebebas, today.
It is not believed that a deal between Los Blancos and the Portuguese forward is on the move, if at all even happening.
The purpose of his training is purely to keep his fitness up and, according to Relevo’s Hugo Cerezo, is a result of his good relationship with the club as he builds up to a new club.
Ronaldo came off the bench for Portugal on Saturday afternoon as the UEFA Euro 2016 winners were knocked out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the quarter-final stage by Morocco.
The odds, and many reports, continue to suggest that Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, currently managed by Rudi Garcia, are the favourites for his signature. He is a free agent after leaving Manchester United in late November.
