Inter Milan director Marco Branca has revealed that Wesley Sneijder will not play until he makes a decision over his future with the club.
According to Branca, Inter have opened talks with the player in regards to an alteration to the terms of his current deal, but the Netherlands international has failed to respond to the club’s proposal, so far.
“We need to modify his current contract. He and his entourage have to decide what they want to do about our proposal,” Branca said to Sky.
“Sneijder will not play until he makes a decision about his contract.”
The 28-year-old has sustained a thigh injury in the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Chievo, back in September, and has since then failed to make an appearance for the San Siro giants.
