According to Saber Desfarges, of Telefoot, Borussia Monchengladbach and France forward Marcus Thuram is becoming ‘increasingly receptive’ to leaving Gladbach in the January transfer window.
The 25 year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League throughout this month with both Chelsea and Newcastle United the most seemingly interested clubs.
Thuram is out of contract at the end of the 2022/23 season and has also been linked with Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain in this window.
Until now, though, Thuram had apparently been keen to stay with his current club at the end of the season and leave Borussia-Park as a free agent in the summer.
The former Guingamp forward, and son of former France captain Lilian, was a part of the France squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and came off the bench in the final for Les Bleus, as they lost to Argentina on penalties.
The Parma-born striker joined Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2019, after scoring 12 goals in 64 Ligue 1 appearances for Guingamp. He has already reached ten goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances this time around.
