UEFA have decided that the game between Tottenham Hotspur and Rennes cannot be replayed so have handed Spurs a 3-0 defeat – eliminating them from the Europa Conference League.
The game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was originally scheduled for the 9th of December but was called off due to the number of COVID cases at Spurs. With a hectic December schedule, Antonio Conte's side have been unable to reschedule the game, meaning they effectively forfeit.
That automatic 3-0 defeat means that Vitesse finish second in Group G and will face Rapid Wien in the knockout playoffs instead.
Tottenham Hotspur have yet to comment on the judgement.
