West Brom have snapped up forward Andreas Weimann from Bristol City on loan until the end of this season.
The 32-year-old, who made 129 appearances for local rivals Aston Villa earlier in his career, has played on 21 occasions for the Robins this term, scoring one goal.
"I just want to help as much as I can and get this club to where it wants to be," Weimann told West Brom's website.
"I'm definitely a team player, but I also think I've got goals in me. Hopefully I can bring goals, assists and experience to the team."
Baggies midfielder Taylor Gardner-Hickman has moved in the opposite direction on a permanent deal, having been on loan at Ashton Gate since August.
Weimann represents West Brom's first piece of January transfer business and their manager Carlos Corberan spoke glowingly about the player on his arrival.
"Andi has proven himself to be an excellent Championship player for many years, and we are pleased to have him with us," said head coach Corberan.
"He adds quality and experience to our attacking options and is a welcome addition to the group. He is fit and ready to play which is also important."
In total, Weimann scored 51 goals in 216 games for Bristol City since he scored on his debut for the Robins in a 1-1 Championship draw with Nottingham Forest back in 2018.
I have had 5 1/2 amazing years @BristolCity , from the moment I signed until today I have made so many memories that will stick with me forever. I have made friends for life and met some amazing people.
