Inter Milan defender Javier Zanetti has insisted that he wants to continue playing for at least one more season.
The 39-year-old Argentine is one of the oldest football players working at top leve, but he is determined to continue playing.
"My intention is to play one more season, and I think that it's the same for Inter: everything goes in the same direction," Zanetti told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"40 years are many but not too many if you still feel good and you are still useful. A future at Inter? Whatever I do, I want to stay as close as possible to the team and then maybe represent the club in special events."
Zanetti has joined the Nerazzurri back in 1995 and he remains a key first-team player.
