Premier League: Sunderland hammer Blackburn, West Brom beat QPR

Blackburn continue their low form at the Premier League campaign, after being hammered by Swansea, on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, West Brom have defeated QPR at The Hawthorns, while Sunderland and the Wolves were held in a goalless score.

At the Liberty Stadium, Swansea have practically guaranteed their remaindance at the Premier League next season, after hammering the Rovers by 3-0.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, Nathan Dyer were the hosts’ goal scorers, on Saturday afternoon, while Scott Dann scored a goal in his team’s own net.

With this result, Blackburn remain at the penultimate position of the league table with 28 points, three points behind the first place above the relegation zone.

West Brom beat QPR

Also on Saturday afternoon, West Brom have achieved a 1-0 victory over the Queens Park Ranger, thanks to Graeme Dorrans single goal, at 22 minutes.

With this win, Roy Hodgson’s men continue sitting comfortably at the 13th position of the Premier League table, with 42 points, while the Londoners are still risking to sink to the relagation zone, as they occupy the 16th place with 31 points.

Finally, Sunderland and Wolverhampton were held in a goaless score at the Stadium of Light.
