Last week we began the 2024 iteration of the 'Playmaker 72' with our first group of players from across the EFL.
As the season enters its most exciting period we're back with the next batch of standouts from across the Football League.
Figuring out who makes the cut is always a massive undertaking and, as ever, we are aware that subjectively ranking players across three different divisions brings elements of confusion and potential controversy to the table.
Just to clarify, our '72' is less a roll call of the best footballers in the EFL and more a tribute to those players who have enjoyed the most memorable seasons and racked up the most impressive stats.
