Huddersfield Town defeat Newcastle

Huddersfield Town triumphed over Newcastle, 1x2, on Saturday, on matchweek 2. In this competition, Rafael Benítez's team came from a defeat, and David Wagner's team came from a win.

The first goal of the game was scored by Nahki Wells, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area, after 45 minutes. 

In the 60th minute, Dwight Gayle fired home for Newcastle, from a penalty rebound. Danny Ward kept his goal safe by saving the penalty with 60 minutes on the clock, taken by Dwight Gayle.  Sub Jack Payne, in the 81st minute, changed the course of the game. Midfielder scored the winner after 82 minutes with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box.

After the result Huddersfield Town are 3rd in the table, with 6 points, while Newcastle sit 21st place, with 0 points. With regard to the next fixture, Huddersfield's team will play away against Aston Villa, whilst Newcastle Upon Tyne's team will host Reading.
