NK Osijek defeated Slaven by 1x2

NK Osijek triumphed over Slaven in a close win on Sunday, 1x2, in a game relating to mathweek 24. Before this matchday, Zeljko Kopic's team came from a draw, and Zoran Zekic's team came from a win.

The first half came to an end without goals.

Sub Zoran Lesjak, after 56 minutes, changed the course of the game. After 66 minutes, Dario Melnjak opened the scoring for Slaven.  with 71 minutes on the clock, Zoran Lesjak struck for NK Osijek. Muzafer Ejupi scored the winning goal in the 84th minute.

After the result NK Osijek are 3rd in the table, with 44 points, while Slaven sit 5th place, with 28 points. In their next fixture, Osijek's team will host HNK Cibalia. Meanwhile, Koprivnica's team will play away against HNK Rijeka.
