Maribor defeat Triglav

Maribor triumphed over Triglav, 4x1, on Saturday, on matchday 16. In this competition, both teams came from a win. Marcos Tavares was the main player.

The first goal was scored by Tilen Mlakar after 26 minutes. In the 35th minute, Marcos Tavares struck for Maribor, laid on by Alexandru Cretu.

In the 56th minute, Luka Zahović fired home Maribor's team second goal, assisted by Denis Klinar. After 60 minutes, Darko Milanič's team increased their lead with a goal from Felipe Santos.  Marcos Tavares netted the last goal after 68 minutes. In the 68th minute, Darjan Curanović has defended a penalty, converted by Marcos Tavares.

After the result Maribor are 1st in the table, with 36 points, while Triglav sit 9th place, with 15 points. In their next fixture, Darko Milanič's team will host NK Krsko, whilst Dejan Dončič's team will play at home against Domzale.
