Borussia Dortmund defeated Eintracht Frankfurt by 4x0

Borussia Dortmund defeated Eintracht Frankfurt, 4x0, on Friday, in the match for the 22nd round. In this competition, Lucien Favre's team came from a defeat, and Adi Hutter's team came from a win. In the starting XI there was Jadon Sancho.

The first goal was scored by Lukasz Piszczek after 33 minutes, with a left-foot shot from outside the box.

After 49 minutes, Jadon Sancho strucked the second goal for Borussia Dortmund, with a right-foot shot, after a pass from Axel Witsel. With 54 minutes on the clock, Erling Haaland struck for Lucien Favre's team, with a right-foot shot inside the box, after a pass from Achraf Hakimi.  Raphaël Guerreiro netted the last goal in the 74th minute with a left-foot shot from outside the box. It was his 5th goal of the season. After 75 minutes, Jadon Sancho was subbed.

After the result Borussia Dortmund is 4th in the table, 42 points, while Eintracht Frankfurt occupy 10th place, 28 points. In their next fixture, Dortmund's team visit Werder Bremen. Meanwhile, Frankfurt's team will play at home against 1. FC Union Berlin.
