Valerenga send Lillestrom home with tail between their legs

Valerenga edged out Lillestrom in a win on Sunday, 3x1, relating to matchweek 21 of the Eliteserien . In this competition, Oslo's team came from two wins, and Lillestrøm's team came from a draw. Osame Sahraoui made a tremendous game.

The opening goal was scored by Osame Sahraoui after 22 minutes. With this goal, Osame Sahraoui recorded his five goal of the current campaign. Valerenga scored their second goal of the game through Torgeir Børven, with 45 minutes already played, assisted by Osame Sahraoui.

With 51 minutes on the clock, Espen Garnas struck for Lillestrom, laid on by Thomas Olsen. Osame Sahraoui netted the last goal in the 71st minute.

After the result Lillestrom are 3rd in the table, with 41 points, while Valerenga sit 5th place, with 36 points. Next up, Dag-Eilev Fagermo's team will play away against Kristiansund BK, whilst Geir Bakke's team will play at home against Stromsgodset.
