Chelsea overcome Leicester City

Chelsea beat Leicester City, 4-2, on Sunday, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The opening goal was scored by Marc Cucurella after 13 minutes, with a left-foot shot. Jakub Stolarczyk kept his goal safe by saving the penalty in the 26th minute, taken by Raheem Sterling. After 45 minutes, Chelsea extended their lead with a goal from Cole Palmer with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box.

In a very unlucky moment, Axel Disasi scored an own-goal in the 51st minute. In the 62nd minute, Stephy Mavididi fired home Leicester City second goal, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area. With 73 minutes on the clock, Callum Doyle left the game early after seeing a red card. In the final minutes of the game, Carney Chukwuemeka struck for Mauricio Pochettino's team, with a right-foot strike. Deep into added time, Noni Madueke netted the final goal of the game, with a left-foot strike from outside the penalty box.

Thanks to this result, Chelsea are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Mauricio Pochettino's team will play against Manchester City.
