Quang Nam stumble to defeat against Viettel FC

Viettel FC overcame Quang Nam in a close win on Saturday, 3-2, on to matchday 14 of the V-League. Coming into the contest, Nguyễn Đức Thắng's team came from a win, and Văn Sỹ Sơn's team came from a defeat.

Conrado opened the score after 24 minutes. After 34 minutes, Quang Nam saw Ngân Văn Đại get a straight red card Văn Sỹ Sơn's team scored their second goal of the game through Phù Trung Phong, shortly before the interval.

In a very unlucky moment, Stephen Eze scored an own-goal in the 71st minute. With 78 minutes on the clock, Pedro Henrique fired home Viettel FC second goal. João Pedro netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game.

After the result Viettel FC are 9th in the table, with 16 points, while Quang Nam sit 10th place, with 15 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Nguyễn Đức Thắng's team will play away against Becamex Binh Duong, whilst Văn Sỹ Sơn's team will play at home against HAGL.
