Tampa Bay Rowdies defeated Miami FC, 2-5, on Friday, in a match relating to the Grp.East of the USL Championship. Cal Jennings was the man of the match. In the starting XI there was Lewis Hilton.
In an unlucky moment Samuel Biek scored an own goal in the 21st minute. After 39 minutes, Cal Jennings scored the second goal for Tampa Bay Rowdies. Shortly before the interval, Blake Bodily doubled the lead for Robbie Neilson's team.
After the break, Rocco Genzano struck for Miami FC. With 52 minutes on the clock, Tampa Bay Rowdies extended their lead with a goal from Cal Jennings. Antonio Nocerino's team scored their second goal of the game through Allen Gavilanes, in the 55th minute. Manuel Arteaga netted the last goal with 62 minutes on the clock. After seeing his second yellow card in the 73rd minute, Manuel Botta was sent off and left Miami FC with 10-man.
In relation to forthcoming league matches, Tampa Bay Rowdies will host El Paso Locomotive, whilst Miami FC will play at home against Birmingham Legion.
