Villarreal star, Borja Valero, is extremely delighted with the news that Real Madrid are interested in signing his services, but he doesn't believe the capital giants will be willing to pay a big transfer fee for his move.
After reports suggesting that the merengues were targeting Villarreal's Valero, the gifted midfielder expressed his surprise and satisfaction for having impressed the Spanish table-toppers.
"People are now talking about a move to Madrid, and previously there was talk about Barcelona. These kinds of things flatter me, and make me happy and satisfied," Valero told AS.
"There's nothing concrete though. I do not believe that Madrid will pay millions for me."
"They let me go for free not so long ago, so I can't see them paying a big transfer fee for me now," the 27-year-old midfielder concluded.
Valero's contract with Villarreal is due at the end of the 2014-15 season.
