Alessandro Del Piero is set to play his 800th football match this Sunday when Sydney meet Perth Glory.
The Juventus icon, who scored over 200 goals for the Turin giants, during his 19-year spell at the club, admitted that he is not at his best yet, despite grabbing the winner in his new Australian side's win over Western Sydney Wanderers at the weekend.
"I'm not 100 per cent, definitely," Del Piero told reporters.
"But I'm feeling good because I'm training every day and this is important."
"After five weeks, I think I'm happy to be in this condition and hope to do my best in two or three weeks."
