Millwall had taken the lead through Watmore...

Swift penalty earns Baggies a point at the Den

The visitors were hoping to put pressure on Southampton above them in the table but had to come from behind at the Den.

It was from a goal of their own making when Cedric Kipre's header back towards his goalkeeper only served to let Duncan Watmore in to finish past Alex Palmer and score his second of the season.

Besides defeat to Leeds United last time out, Millwall have been in much better form as of late and are now looking to move closer to the play-offs after having flirted with the relegation zone earlier in the year.

They could have taken more from this game especially with Michael Obafemi missing a golden chance after more poor defending from the Baggies saw him through on goal. The forward's attempt was straight at Palmer though.

West Brom were much improved after the break though and eventually equalised from the penalty spot.

Grady Diangana was causing problems in the Millwall penalty area before he was brought down with substitute John Swift, who had been on the pitch for just a matter of minutes, cool as ever from the spot to convert in the 66th minute.

Neither side could find a late winner with the points being shared between the two. Millwall will no doubt be happy with another point and West Brom will be glad to have got something out of a game in which they committed far too many defensive errors.

As a fan of the visiting team, I'm disappointed with the result but it's good to see our recent form improving. We definitely could have taken more from the game, especially with that missed chance from Obafemi. But credit to West Brom for their improved performance in the second half. Looking forward to seeing our team continue to push for the playoffs.

Disappointing start for West Brom, but we never give up! Great comeback by Watmore! Let's keep the momentum going for a play-off spot!

      I want to

As a Southampton fan, I'm disappointed in West Brom's performance against Millwall. They had a chance to put pressure on us in the table but instead, they had to come from behind. Poor defending and missed opportunities cost them the win. They need to step up if they want to make it to the play-offs.

As a West Brom fan, I'm disappointed with the result but proud of the team's fight back. We can't keep making mistakes like Cedric Kipre's and expect to win. But we'll bounce back and keep pushing for the play-offs.
