West Ham manager David Moyes has revealed that he has been presented with a new contract offer.
However, the Scottish manager will only make a decision at the end of the season.
The 60-year-old's current contract expires in June, and amid an eight-game winless streak, speculation about his future has escalated.
Despite "Moyes out" banners surfacing during West Ham's recent defeat to Nottingham Forest, Moyes asserted control over his future.
“I’ve had really good conversations with the owners, with David Sullivan and Karren Brady,” he said. “There’s a contract there for me and I’m the one deciding. I want to wait until the end of the season.”
Under Moyes' leadership, the Hammers won the Europa Conference League last season, marking their first significant trophy in 43 years. Additionally, they achieved sixth and seventh-place finishes in the Premier League and reached the Europa League semi-finals in 2022.
Their recent struggles coincided with Lucas Paqueta's injury, who has been sidelined since January. Speaking about the Brazilian's situation, Moyes said: “Paqueta is back in training and very close to returning, so that will give us a boost.
“He’s in contention (for Monday) and we’ll have to see where he is."
West Ham, currently sitting ninth in the league, are eager to halt their winless run as they face Brentford on Monday.
