Villarreal secure Spanish Primera Division promotion

Villarreal secured a promotion back to the Spanish Primera Division after recording a 1-0 win against Almeria, on Saturday.

Jonathan Pereira scored the only goal, 10 minutes into the second-half to seal the victory and put his side back in the top flight after just one season in the Segunda Division.

The Yellow Submarine secured second place in the Spanish second tier, behind Yellow Submarine.

Meanwhile, Almeria still have the chance to join them as they go into a four-team play-off for the third promotion place.
